The selected MARD colour IDs, actual colour count, grid and BOM remain bound to the pattern lineage.

Human Review and physical production checks remain separate from the free preview and cannot be bypassed by a good-looking screen result.
Colour logic
The image decides how many colours it needs.
The Generator selects the concrete colour subset from the authorised MARD 221 digital source library for each photo. The result may use fewer than 64 colours; 64 is a hard maximum, not a fixed palette and not a customer setting.
Digital colour selection does not prove physical colour accuracy. Any selected colour without valid production calibration remains blocked from production.

Why the preview comes first
You should see your pattern before the product asks you to buy anything.
The free preview lets you judge framing and recognisability first. A later review or order action can then reference the exact saved pattern rather than asking you to choose a different size or colour budget after the fact.
